Can you believe this will be last pole tutorial of our 10-week #superflyhoneychallenge? For this pole tutorial, I tackled the pegasus, an advanced pole move that looks like beautiful wings! Be sure to warm up the shoulders, elbows, back and your splits.
Let's get started!
x Kimmy, blogger from Pole Asana
PS. I'm wearing the Super Fly Honey Tigress Top and Lioness Bottom Pole Wear.
Step 1
Start with the outside leg hang.
Step 2
Your outside hand reaches over the head to grab the pole (just like the Tear from Tutorial 9!).
Step 3
Adjust the grip on the bottom hand as you slide down the pole. Your ear should be by your hand now. Slide hips away to create space for your hand.
Step 4
Thread the top hand through, hooking the elbow and grab the thigh. Optional: Bend the outside leg to help with balance.
Step 5
Once secure, slowly lift inside leg away from the pole.
Step 6
Straighten both legs into your splits and actively keep your hips up.
Step 7
The safest way to exit is exactly the reverse of how you got in! Hook the inside leg back onto the pole.
This is an advanced trick! Getting into the pegasus was not the most difficult part, but getting out was. Don’t be discouraged though!
